Money is NOT the root of all evil. The Bible actually says, the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Re: 1 Timothy 6:10
That is a big difference. How did that mistake get started? Whoever misquoted the Bible really screwed up a lot of people’s belief about money including mine. I believe God wants us to prosper, not struggle for what we want. Now that I understand what was meant to be said I hope to have a better understanding of how God wants us to view prosperity.
I, like most other people want to be more prosperous and no longer link evil to money. It’s just the love of money that can cause you problems, not money itself.
